Applications for joining our sixth form in September 2024 are now closed.

How to apply to join Southfields Academy Sixth Form - starting in September 2025

1 - Fill out our online application form - The link to this application form will be posted on this webpage during October.

Once you’ve done this, we’ll invite you to come in for an interview.

(Please note: The deadline for applying is 28th February 2025. If you miss this deadline, and you would still like to apply, please email Ms Kirkby a scan of your latest year 11 report: bobby.kirkby@southfieldsacademy.com)

2 - Attend your interview and take a tour of our amazing facilities (which include a full-size floodlit astro-turf football pitch, an Olympic size swimming pool, climbing walls, a huge library, hundreds of brand new computers, sixth form study rooms/common room etc.).

3 - Receive an offer letter (assuming you had a successful interview).

4 - Second interview/enrol - The second interviews normally take place either on GCSE results’ day or the day after. We always write to everyone who has applied to confirm the exact date/time. It is very important that you are in the country on GCSE results’ day - courses fill up fast.

5 - Start your courses - All courses start in early September.

Applicants with an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan)
All applicants with an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan) need to apply via Wandsworth's Special Needs Assessment Service (SNAS). For more details, please click on this link:

All students applying to join our sixth form must be under 18 on the 1st September on the year their courses begin.
