How to apply to join Southfields Academy Sixth Form

Applications for joining our Sixth Form in September 2026 are now closed.

For those students who have already applied, here is the process:

Sixth Form Enrolment 2026: Summer Interview Dates

Thursday 20th August

  • 9:00am – 12:00pm – Interviews for current Southfields Academy students
  • 1:30pm – 3:30pm – Interviews for newcomers to the Academy (who have been invited for an interview)

Friday 21st August

  • 9:00am – 11:00am – Mop-up interviews (open to all students who have applied or are Southfields Academy students)

Additional Mop-Up Interviews
For students who are unable to attend in August, additional interviews will take place on:

  • Wednesday 2nd September – 9:00am to 11.30am

What to bring to your interview

Please ensure you bring the following documents with you:

  • Your GCSE exam results
  • Your passport or birth certificate
  • Your Year 11 school report (unless this has already been submitted)

Please note:  we will only interview applicants who have applied through Applicaa before applications closed and had a first interview.  If you have had a first interview but have not submitted a reference your application will not be considered.  We will not accept any students who walk in without an invitation for an interview (unless they have come from Ashcroft).

Applicants with an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan)

All applicants with an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan) need to apply via Wandsworth's Special Needs Assessment Service (SNAS). For more details, please click on this link:

AGE RESTRICTIONS APPLY

All students applying to join our sixth form must be under 18 on the 1st September of the year their courses begin.
